How to use it

  • Have your draft open. For each strand, pick the statement that fits best (it won't fit perfectly).
  • Be honest: the aim is to find what to improve, not to get a high number.
  • Your choices are saved in this browser only.
  • The total is an estimate. Examiners use a best-fit judgement across the whole essay, and grade boundaries for the new criteria won't exist until after May 2027.
